The referenced biological knowledge graph behind every BiologicalSecure assessment. Atlas does not decide whether a product is acceptable — it traces, from a declared composition, which biological pathways are documented in the literature, and attaches an evidence level and a source to every connection.
Every ingredient or compound is followed along the same documented path — from the substance to the physiological system it has been reported to touch.
Declared ingredients, additives (E-numbers) and compounds.
Documented signalling molecule the substance is reported to affect.
Synthesis genes and receptors that carry the signal.
Cell populations that produce or receive the hormone.
Tissue location and the physiological axis involved.
Reading the graph honestly: a documented agent→hormone association carries an evidence level; an expression locus only marks where the hormone is produced or received. Atlas also records high-evidence negatives: a documented "no effect" is stored as exactly that.
Atlas integrates established public biological resources with curated, literature-referenced links. Each ingested dataset is recorded with its origin, row count and a content hash.
Hormones, endocrine genes, producing and receiving cell definitions, steroidogenesis and metabolism.
Cell-type inventories and hormone–cell expression strengths across tissues.
Protein annotation and receptor / target family classification.
Referenced genetic associations underpinning the clinical variant layer.
Agent–hormone associations, each tagged with study type, population, limitations and a PMID / DOI.
The figures above describe the current, version-tracked knowledge base — a per-table record of source URL, row count and content hash — not a marketing estimate.
The same commitments stand behind every public system — that is what makes them an infrastructure rather than a set of claims.
Every public record can be checked by a third party, without relying on Gemacode or its servers.
Claims carry sources and evidence levels. Absence of identified evidence is reported as absence — never as approval.
Open protocols and an open verification model, so the ability to verify outlives any single vendor.
